Mongolia: Mongolian Culture is unique. The combination of history, nomadic civilisation, its customs and traditions and unspoilt countryside make Mongolia a truly special experience.
Certainly the best place to experience its culture is in the countryside where the nomadic herders have lived in much the same way for hundreds of years.

People and Geography:
Mongolia is the 17th largest country in the world, yet it supports a
population of just two and a half million, about half of whom are
nomadic. Most Mongolians are associated with the Buddhist faith or Shamanism or, in many cases, both. To the south lies the Gobi Desert and beyond the northern border is
Siberia. Mongolia is a country of immense variety: big sand dunes,
taiga forest, open steppe, snow-covered mountains, volcanoes, hot
springs, lakes and major river systems.

Chinggis Khan:
Chinggis Khaan (aka Genghis Khan): World conqueror, Emperor of all men, the Scourge of God. Whatever the title used, most people think they have some idea of who Chinggis Khaan was. Arguably, Chinggis Khaan was nothing more (and nothing less) than a rather talented leader of steppe nomads. Establishing the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous land empire ever, Chinggis surely deserves his place among the great warriors of history, but in according him this place, we should not make him into a god. Neither god nor devil, Chinggis Khaan was, as various chronicles show, simply human.

Naadam Festival: Throughout Mongolia's varied history the
summer Naadam festival has continued to be celebrated throughout the
country. Horse racing, wrestling and archery competitions continue for
three days, the champions becoming national heroes.
